The Bunny is a special edition of photograph from Linda Zhengová’s series Oxymoron, born out of dark, transformative encounters with strangers. One of her many approaches was to place an ad on a fetish website that simply read: “I am curious what people are doing behind closed doors.” From there, she followed her curiosity. Ringing random bells, stepping into unknown rooms, witnessing whatever people were ready to reveal. These encounters, both through the ad and beyond it, became experiments in crossing limits, theirs and her own, where each door opened something unpredictable, unsettling, and strangely liberating.
